How I got here
I came up through Programming Hero's Apollo Level 2 program, where I went deep on the modern Node + MongoDB + TypeScript stack. The discipline that stuck — strict validation at the route boundary, consistent error envelopes, schemas that work hard so the rest of the code doesn't have to — comes from that grounding.
What I work on
My day-to-day is Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and MongoDB with Mongoose. Most of what I ship is unglamorous: REST endpoints with predictable contracts, a Zod parse at every entry point, and just enough schema in MongoDB that bad data never reaches the application layer. When the team needs frontend work I help — but the place I do my best work is in the layer between the database and the wire.
How I write
When I'm not building, I'm writing — short technical articles on Dev.to and Medium about whatever I just figured out. The format is consistent: a real problem I hit, the wrong turns I took, the small shape change that made it click. The bar is "would I want to read this in six months?"
What I'm looking for
I'm open to backend / API contracts and full-time roles where the team takes data integrity seriously and the codebase has room to grow into the right shape over time. If that sounds like your team, the contact form is the fastest way to reach me.
